About Flixiy and the model
What makes Flixiy different from contracting a storage company directly?
Flixiy does not own warehouses. It is a fourth-party logistics operator: we contract a carefully selected network of storage companies and provide the service to you, so you deal with one commercial counterpart — one contract, one point of contact, one invoice, and one party accountable for delivery. Contracting each warehouse directly means repeating that cycle in every city and every sector — and it comes with the conditions storage companies sometimes impose on the space and its minimum commitment, which do not suit everyone.
What is the difference between 3PL and 4PL?
A 3PL owns or operates the warehouse and sells you storage and handling directly. A 4PL operator such as Flixiy owns and operates no warehouse: it designs the solution, selects the providers, and manages the commercial, operational and financial relationship with them on your behalf, while remaining accountable to you for the outcome.
Do you serve individuals or only businesses?
The service is business-to-business only. We do not provide storage for individuals, nor retail or direct-to-consumer e-commerce fulfilment.
Space and sectors
What types of storage are available?
Pallet storage for standardised goods, square-metre storage for bulky cargo, equipment and other non-standard products, plus licensed facilities for specific regulated sectors. We provide the full range of temperatures: ambient, air-conditioned, chilled and frozen.
Can you store hazardous chemicals?
Yes, through facilities licensed according to the material class and holding a fire prevention and protection compliance certificate. The material class determines which facility is suitable and what conditions apply, which is why we ask for the material data before confirming any space.
Are the facilities licensed by the SFDA?
Yes. For products under SFDA oversight we use facilities that meet its requirements, which supports the import of food products, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Which cities do you cover?
We cover the Kingdom's main cities. Availability depends on the goods, temperature range and volume required at the time of the request. When you send your requirement we confirm actual availability before issuing any price.
Pricing and contracting
How is pricing built?
Pricing is based on what you actually use: a clear charging basis for storage (per pallet or per square metre) and a unit rate for each additional service with its unit of charge. The quotation shows the contract term, billing cycle and payment terms before you commit, so no line appears later that was not in the offer.
Do I get an instant price?
When an approved rate matching your requirement is available, the price appears as soon as you complete the request. If the requirement needs capacity confirmation or special conditions, the offer follows shortly after.
Is there a minimum contract or committed term?
The contract term and billing cycle are set in the quotation according to the city, space type and services required, and are shown to you before signing. You can expand later by adding spaces and locations without contracting again from scratch.
Operations and reporting
How do I track my stock?
In the platform. The stock screen shows balances, movement and expiry dates across your active spaces, with filtering and export to Excel or PDF. The balance is derived from the recorded movements themselves, so it can be traced back to the last one.
What happens if the received quantity differs from the request?
The difference is recorded and stays visible. The platform does not hide discrepancies and does not edit any past movement; a correction is a new, opposite entry stating the reason, the time, the document and the user who made it. That is why any change in the movement history can still be traced months later.
Can you integrate with our ERP or WMS?
Integration is possible and is scoped case by case. Contact us with the details of your system and the data to be exchanged so we can define the right scope.
Who actually operates the warehouse?
A provider from our network. Your commercial and operational relationship remains with Flixiy alone. Our long operational experience is what lets us select partners carefully, then monitor and develop their performance to reach the best operational standard.
Getting started
How do I start?
Send a quote request from the platform: you define the goods, cities, temperature, volume and services in a few short steps. Once the offer is accepted and signed, your space is activated and you start with your first inbound request.
I own warehouse space — how do I join as a provider?
Apply to partner with us. We agree the service scope and performance indicators, you submit your rates, and you start receiving qualified demand. No software licence, installation or dedicated hardware is required.
Question still unanswered?
Send your requirement and we will come back with a specific answer, not a generic one.
